Many "Taiwanese" got brainwashed into demonizing their mainland compatriots and rejecting their Chinese heritage.

  3. ​ @thornados4969  Nonsense. Chinese settlers in Taiwan grew even with "fear" of the aborigines. It's because the aborigines themselves didn't occupy the whole island. Chinese settlers didn't recognized Dutch rule over them.
