We buy japanese cars with taxes too , so the problem is with the american cars only , not with the taxes. I was talking only about the cars of dayly use , we come to the conclusion that is a lot cheaper to build a brand new one than repair a piece junk . Not only that, but like this you are allways driving a safe a performant new machines and you keep the industry healthy too . You don't do the same with your houses ? They are made by Renault, with technology tested and over tasted for tens of years . So before you use only prejudice , try to inform yourself.

  42. I have now : an Audi A4, a VW and a ''7000 euros car '' made by Renault. And I have many VWs too before, and most had more or less problems. But in the 7000 euro car , I did not spend 1 cent, is almost indestructible. So, so much for the bullshit ''that a cheap must break and if its expensive must last longer ''. Is quite the oposite, the cheaper is these day, the more reliable it is, since it doesnt have lots of systems that can break down . Simple as that. The engine and transmision , in the 6000 Euro car is the same as in the 20.000 euro car, the only thing different is : Less electronical systems, cheap interior, ugly plastics ...but I believe ugly car interiors is something that you americans are familiar with it :)) So it will be a plus too lol.
