Biggest amount of nonsense from David Pakman ever. He actually went there and dared to do this segment. I suppose he had to address the elephant in the room sooner or later but, by God, that was some stretch of the imagination. He actually asked “Is inflation bad?” and what did he try to argue? If people thought prices would go down it would destroy the economy? What?? How about inflation is generally accepted but it’s rate of inflation that is of paramount concern? And that’s not blaming anybody or anything or pointing any fingers, it’s just pointing out that if anyone has savings in cash the exchange value of that cash is becoming less at a faster rate There’s no difference in effect than a tax targeting the poor and middle classes

@jacksmith-vs4ct Modern economics doesn’t make any sense 🤔 Okay More cash doesn’t mean higher inflation anymore? Maybe so but I would need that explained to me. I’m not going to expect you to do that for me. I don’t really care enough at the the end of the day but that’s very much an: ‘it always did in the past but it doesn’t now’ kind of statement. Has something changed?
