Do those marbles rattling around in that skull of yours exclude the possibility that a new variant might arise out of some shithole country or animal population in the wild?

  8.  @thibautklinger5178  I have argued that before. It makes sense that the viruses that thrive are the ones that don’t kill the host they need to survive in. It would also explain why humanity has never completely been wiped out in the past thousands of years we’ve been in existence. Then again I don’t know anything more about virology than you. What I do remember was that this virus was totally different to any other virus that came before and Fauci said was totally not manufactured in a lab. When the virus first appeared the guy who had been advocating artificially manufacturing viruses in labs for years was able to let everyone know that it was absolutely impossible this virus to have been manufactured in a lab. Initially at least. Last year: IMPOSSIBLE it leaked from a lab This year: We’ll, we might never know 🤔

  9.  @LD86  Much as I might not like it I believe it should be a businesses right to refuse service based on failure to demonstrate vaccination status. I can hardly believe I’m saying that but it may have at risk vulnerable employees. I’m not sure about the science behind it though and whether the vaccinated can still spread the virus as much as the unvaxxed but it’s their business their choice and it does not amount to discrimination.

  11.  @stacihilliard3761  Yeah well not exactly is right. Viruses and such like will evolve and treatment of them will develop in response to that. Just to throw in a bit of snark: Who knows, maybe some day we’ll find a way to use UV light or some way of applying some sort of disinfectant to affected parts of the body in order to treat such ailments as Coronaviruses. Appliance of science and all. Disclaimer: I’m only saying that btw. Don’t go running out and injecting yourself with bleach or anything!
