Yeah l letting people from African American communities who have been charged with crimes against their communities really helps those communities? Not to say that innocent parties should be locked up until they get a fair trial and that local prosecutors abuse their authority to oppose bail for their own gain (Kamala Harris)but sometimes people are caught red-handed and the cops know they have the goods on them. Not to impinge on the guilt of any of these men before they’ve had their day in court or deny them their presumption of innocence but maybe the reason they’re seemingly all black is because the organization that bailed them out targets black defendants. Which I’m not saying is wrong because there’s it’s unconscionable how long so many obviously innocent or unprovable guilty young black men have been held in jail for so long before they got a trail and then had their charges dismissed.That should be a crime in itself. I’d be pretty sure the people featured in those tweets belong to the other sort, the undeniably guilty sort otherwise they wouldn’t have been selected by the trump campaign.. That makes sense doesn’t it? Unless the people who run the trump campaign are all horrible racists who can’t live without seeing black people locked up or back in chains or hanging from a tree or something like so many fantasists seem to imagine

Well his team are just making it explicit that some of the people Biden’s team donated to help bail out of jail are violent offenders or accused of violent offenses. That the happen to be black? Well, IT IS WHAT IT IS man. Why would they exclude white violent offenders if it would help reinforce their point? Not all black ppl have mugshots to be released. In fact the vast majority of black Americans by a long way will not ever have occasion to have their mugshot taken innocent and guilty alike. Trump campaign is maybe only highlighting the worst offenders it was David who highlighted their race and brought it into the conversation. Maybe rightfully too. However if he’d have wanted to reinforce his point he could have provided examples of white violent offenders who were bailed by the same scheme and asked why they were excluded and not highlighted by the trump team. Then he’d have had more of a lock on this argument. That’s a big ask though, there’s only so much time in a day and it’d be unfair to expect David to go into that level of detail when he has so much other content to produce. Still as they say, it’s racists who see the race not the person isn’t it?

@neal Thailand. After the riots in Minneapolis it was reported that members of Bidens campaign staff donated to an organization that helps provide bail money for those who can’t afford it. From what I heard there were only about a dozen ppl who were arrested for riot related offenses that benefitted but the organization has since also bailed out some accused of violent offenses and who have prior convictions including one who failed to show up for a court date and is now a wanted fugitive. So that’s why trump is using this to smear Biden and his campaign

@Michele P yeah you’re entitled to see it that way but it’s also true so his campaign is entitled to use this to illustrate his opponents staffs position. Speaking of dirty politics do you remember the “grab them by the pussy “ tape release, the Russian collusion hoax, the FBI doctoring evidence to obtain FISA warrants leading to crossfire hurricane and the Mueller probe that turned out to be all BS.

@Ann Anderson I’m not to sure who Steve Millar is, is that the guy being called racist for his ideas on immigration policy? I highly doubt he or anyone connected to your president would like to see any innocent party locked up and certainly no one of any standing in this world would like to see any ethnic group in chains. I think his objections to free immigration were based on ideology and culture not race

@Collins Collins Well if your concern is that Trump is guilty of ‘many crimes’ then perhaps the best thing to do is to specify exactly what each of those crimes are. That would seem like an obvious first step if that’s what you believe. State what he did and explain how his action or actions violated a law or laws of the USA. Simple. Remember Trump was born rich and has probably consulted a team of highly skilled and knowledgeable lawyers before he made any questionable move. If I was him and could afford it I’d certainly want to make sure my ass was covered before I took any questionable action, wouldn’t you? So my suggestion to you is to ask yourself what crimes has he committed and which laws has he broken and how? Maybe you know something I don’t but if you can’t answer those questions honestly and accurately immediately then you have to look back at your original assertion and reevaluate whether that was true or not. False or exaggerated claims do not support your original assertion btw

@elissa f It’s not the Biden campaign per se but after the riots in Minnesota apparently some of his campaign staff donated to the Minnesota Freedom Fund which apparently iIS bailing people out willynilly regardless of the severity of the charges. Literally accused murders, drug dealers and rapists with priors
