Should giving the Nazi salute in order to mock others for having authoritarian ways be classified as “hate speech”?

How would society know how to judge people accordingly?
1
@lifeiswonderful22 How did that work out for Socrates? And also ‘Jesus’ and many others?

@chevinbarghest8453 Actually Trump said that there were fine people on both sides of the issue of the removal of Confederate statutes and explicitly clarified that he wasn’t talking about White Nationalists or neo Nazis. But then you’re still calling him Trumputin so you’re going to pretend different to yourself

@burningmisery Everybody gotta die sometime. Almost like it’s part of some larger plan

@uhoh8115 No, I’m just very judgmental of judgmental people. I find them wearisome

@lifeiswonderful22 He’s saying that people have the right to judge people based on what they say but I question his motivations for doing so. Sounds to me like he’s seeking to encourage and exploit divisions in society

@chevinbarghest8453 Who the f are claiming to be the KKK these days? Historically, didn’t the KKK originate as a Democrat supporting organization? Besides I’m not entirely sure about the veracity of that claim that ‘every’ such types endorse Trump. What with him having the Platinum Plan as part of his manifesto. Also, being endorsed by someone is not the same as you endorsing them. And just to ask, who did Hillary Clinton describe as her ‘mentor’? Wasn’t that former KKK leader Robert Byrd? Don’t photographs still exist of Biden hanging out with known KKK members back when he first started in politics too? Not like it would be typical of someone like yourself to baselessly accuse someone else of what you yourself are guilty off. It’s always the same with the hoodwinked

@uhoh8115 Only to the extent that judgmental trigger that aspect of me. I prefer to think of myself as more of a smartass. With the emphasis on ass more and more as time goes on, sadly.

I think Republican Senators are pushing the boat out and going a bit too hard on Garland for brownie points too. But if David was doing due diligence he’d explore the possibility that a Nazi salute was given by a parent out of mockery for the authoritarian nature of school board members. I imagine that David is trying to exploit a singular incident in order to cast a false narrative to defend a losing issue. That’s the type of him

@SageIceDragonX Yeah it does suck that the symbol has been removed from society. I mean the proper clockwise turning one not the offensive one, they’re just too similar and people wouldn’t know the difference. Even if they did, the proper one is still too samey to ever make a comeback for the foreseeable future

@douchopotamus3755 I always thought the Roman salute and that one where slightly different. I think it had utility in the past as a powerful gesture. It’s certainly tainted now but human form remains the same.

@triarb5790 Well, tbh, I wouldn’t have done that myself either. Don’t forget parents can be pretty authoritarian by nature when it comes to their own children’s upbringing . Some of these school board members are making decisions that parents think negatively impact their children and the board members are not responding well to criticism. It was predicted months ago that matters were bound to come to a head
1
@triarb5790 That sounds very much like the way the Church or the Monarchy used to run things
