@dylandugan76 I think you’ll find every man will lose his life. It’s something of an inevitability.. And also what are you talking about, “take advantage of his death in order to draw the exact wrong conclusions about it and encourage the very behavior that caused it in the first place”? Slow your roll there partner. Try and stay grounded in reality before going off on one. My reading of Trump’s statement is that it’s quite clearly a dig at the MSM and not really about Colin Powell at all. And David just marches on and tries to pretend it’s not.

But that was then, and it didn’t worry holier than thou David one bit. Meanwhile, now Trump is quite clearly having a dig at the fake news media here. And , I suppose, also getting his own back at Colin Powell for being a cunt to him personally and the American people and the wider world at large. His statement was a jab at the media first.

@calliecooke1817 Well, in retrospect, I suppose knowingly taking deliberate bad actions as a mistaken thing to do if you’re feeling charitable but I still would count that different from making a genuine innocent mistake. Maybe legally there’s little difference but in my book it’s the difference between black and white. Being called out for being wrong and then insisting you’re right because you know better and then whoops! turns out you were wrong all along, sorry my bad, does not pass the mustard as necessarily a simple mistake anyone could make to me. I’m left with the lingering suspicion of no good and skullduggery. Forevermore. And as such I have obviously never married for the exact same reason.

Do you think the PUSA inherently has some kind of magical power to protect the virus from ever reaching the US? Ever thought to take yourself seriously?

@calliecooke1817 So were the original SARS and Ebola as transmissible as Covid? That I even have to ask you that question says it all about your level of understanding. What was the conclusion of the report into the investigation of the H1N1 virus that Joe Biden was put in charge of when he was Vice President? The US was lucky that it wasn’t more deadly was the upshot of the report in case you didn’t know. You are literally trying to compare apples to oranges . Trump maybe could have done more to prepare in advance but really there was little difference any President could have made. Covid has turned out to be a worldwide issue in case you didn’t notice .
