Comments by "Jim" (@jimohara) on "Fox Goes SILENT Moments After Massive Jobs Report" video.
@aeroripper and are Pakman viewers too dumb to realize there’s something fishy about this story. David’s too busy gloating to explain why the number was so different. Maybe he doesn’t want his audience to know
3
@charlesasmith7836 do you know about the undercounts from Nov and Dec being added to the Jan figures? Funny how David didn’t mention that. Anything to own Fox News I guess
2
Considering the number of jobs that were added to the total because of apparently newly discovered undercounts from both December and November AND.the largest seasonal adjustment in history from the board of labor services I think that lots of people take that report with a large pinch of salt.
2
I don’t think David would want this to be spoken of again. Did you not notice he had no curiosity and offered no explanation for why market predictions were so far off the number that was announced? Are you not curious about that either?
2
Because undercounts from Nov and Dec to the tune of >500k were unexpectedly added to the Jan numbers. So 467k jobs added in January?
1
Because it’s obviously not believable that the market predictions they were reporting on could be that far wrong. Turned that there over half a million jobs that weren’t counted in Nov and Dec added to the Jan total
1
I notice David didn’t explain that the Jan number was so much higher than predicted because undercounts from Nov and Dec were added to the total
1
If David gave you the truth he’d have told jobs from Nov and Dec were added to this Jan’s count. Fox’s numbers were based on market predictions so their reporting of them was accurate. And the BLS made the largest seasonal adjustment for Jan in history. When you take those factors into account the markets weren’t that far wrong.
1
@ceedogg4270 No, you guess wrong. Fox were caught on the hop and didn’t know how to respond is the more likely explanation. Even since, they still haven’t run piece rebuking the Jan jobs report as misleading. Because they’re shit. In fairness, the Board of Labor Services is basically saying they underestimated the employment numbers for more than half of last year (they made adjustments back as far as June) and then made a massive correction just in time for Biden’s one year anniversary speech. All the information was in their report but it was absent from nearly all the reporting. Fantastic journalisming. I don’t even know if that’s true or not, but so many more jobs in Jan than there were in the lead up to the holiday season? Plot to cook the books more like.
1
@jayyyzeee6409 Actually, it comes across to me that evening time Fox hosts such as Tucker and Hannity openly declare themselves to be opinion hosts. Unlike ‘just the news’ Don Lemon and Brian Stelter. lol
1
@lexuses3942 You’d know more about it about it than me. Would I be right in thinking you gave up on being a human being before you even started? Find your comfort spot there?
1
@elissaaleph The biggest seasonal adjustment in history isn’t anything special?
1
@michaelbeelby1995 what’s wrong with you that you have to call someone else cupcake? I’m not a cupcake, I don’t don’t someone calling me cupcake because it’s a clear sign that they are a prick. You don’t have to believe, or what I might get wrong, go check out the report from the BLS , the primary source, and I’m sure it’s all in there.
1
@Claire-xh5mv If I was one of the super richest I’d be pleased that the cap on State and Local Taxes deductibles that Trump put in place was done away with almost as soon as Biden got into office . Trump put a $10,000 cap on it, I believe. Biden removed that cap. Who’s acting in the interests of the super wealthy again?
1
More than 500k jobs created in Nov and Dec were added to the Jan total
1
@SuperMachead1 You tell me when the biggest seasonal adjustment in history was applied to a Jan jobs report smarty pants.
1
@lexuses3942 Also going through the comments to see what the stupid have to say!
1
@towbar8655 No, I don’t get your point. I don’t want people in America who want jobs to not have jobs (or have to live on bad paying jobs for that matter). Things won’t be good in any country on the heels of Covid, for sure. Cost of living relative to income is going to skyrocket. Not really much any President can do about that. Must qualify as one of the largest transfers of wealth from the middle class and the poor to the wealthiest in all of human history. Does David ever talk about that? No. He’s to busy talking about vaccinated/unvaccinated. Some progressive. ,wouldn’t happen to be a distraction from what’s really going on is it? I couldn’t be bothered going down a conspiracy hole either. I’ll be alright, I’ve been in worse spots before. I’ve just no idea how much longer people can keep falling for the Biden administration’s shtick.
1
@towbar8655 why would I want an idiot to feel sorry for me? Because KKK, OAN Fox News? What are you, some kind of zombie? There’s more to life than Fox News y’know.
1
@towbar8655 Trump didn’t say there were good people on both sides of the KKK rally. He said said there were good people on both sides at the protest against the removal of statues that was attacked by radical leftists the following day. He also explicitly said, “And I’m not talking about the White Nationalists, because they should be condemned and condemned totally.”
1
@towbar8655 I don’t know who that Kellyanne is. And David is commentary/opinion(/propaganda) not news
1
@dvonzosch461 New CNN poll out of Media Research Center today/yesterday: What has Biden done well? 56% Nothing/disapprove of everything They can’t be all QAnon/OANN can they? I mean what are you like? You’re wrong about a lot of things (obviously not everything) but rather than acknowledging that you double down and reach for more baseless allegations. C’mon man!
1
@towbar8655 No. The KKK rally happened at night. Remember the tiki torches? Trump was talking about the violence that erupted when a different protest about the removal for statues that had been scheduled for the following day was attacked by violent leftists. Sorry, that might come as a bit of a shock to you but them’s the facts. You really ought to adjust to a new reality IMO but that’s up to you. I can’t tell you what to do. My only advice would be to take your time.
1
@towbar8655 No, of course I’m not for the far right And what would I need to look it up on Google for? I’ve a fairly good memory. It’s like this. Why was Trump saying there were good people on both sides? Because he was addressing the violence in Charlottesville that resulted in the death of Heather Heayer (sic?). The Unite the Right rally was a separate event that occurred in Charlottesville the night before. You have conflated the two separate events because you’re a victim of media manipulation. And, I dunno, that somehow affirms? Let me make it simple for you. Nazis/White Supremacists/White Nationalists chanting ‘Jews will not replace us’. Nighttime. Separate organized protest that was attacked by violent leftists that Trump was talking about? The following day. That’s plain and simple. Even you must know that. Granted, maybe some people from the night before stuck around to infect the people gathered to object to the removal of statues but it wasn’t a KKK rally as you, quite frankly, ridiculously claimed. Let me translate ‘there’s good people on both sides for you’. - ‘There’s merit to the argument for the removal of the statues and also there’s merit to the argument for the retention of them’. That’s conciliatory speech and not condemning everyone who wanted to retain the Confederate statues as automatically being somehow Nazis or KKK wannabes. Of course the MSM had to portray it different to damage Trump as much as they could. The MSM knew they could find victims and apparently you were one of them. Now that’s me doing you a favor and telling you. Spelling it out. That’s me done with you. If you can’t take it that’s your problem and yours alone. You can do a YouTube search for ‘Charlottesville Hoax’ in your own time if you want to take it further but leave me alone, I’ve said all I have to say on this matter. I don’t expect you to adjust overnight but I’m not your Daddy either. If you insist on hanging on to being wrong and deluded to fulfill some sort of need that you have go ahead. It’s no skin off me
1
It was also kinda some of David’s finest fake news
1
@johnwinslow3776 That so many jobs were created in the month of January is total fake news. Rather, the numbers were adjusted to account for ‘miscalculations’ throughout the last half of 2021. I’m not rooting against America, just letting such an obvious misrepresentation of the truth isn’t really healthy for the country. Almost like an effort to fool the American people. It’s only to be expected that temporary jobs would be lost after the holiday season every January, thank goodness there were all those jobs that weren’t counted last year to make the Jan figures look good just in time for Biden’s one year anniversary speech.
1
They were reporting on predictions made by market experts. Not actually predicting themselves. More than 500k jobs that were undercounted in Nov and Dec were unexpectedly added o the Jan numbers so the market predictions weren’t that far wrong actually
1
Then Biden would look like a fool when Fox would point out that the Jan number contains more than half a million jobs that were actually created in Nov and Dec. The predictions Fox were reporting on weren’t actually that far off when you take that unexpected adjustment into account
