Do you think the father’s of unborn children shouldn’t get a say in the fate of their offspring? If you want to say yes to that say yes. If you want to think about it a bit more think about it a bit more. If you don’t want to think about it a bit more don’t think about it a bit more.. Better yet, don’t think at all.Just go with whatever you feel but examine why you feel what you feel.

But it’s not the mother’s body that’s being destroyed. It’s another body.

Didn’t RBJ have an issue with how RvW was decided when she was alive?

@@roxylasch9058 I’m not. I don’t have to be a doctor to point out the fkn obvious.

@Liberal_From_Prairies689 Really? Why don’t you check the dictionary for that claim. A simple Google search.for ‘definition fetus’ will confirm how much of an ideological fanatic you are.

@ga6589 Are you saying to me that you also think suicide should be legal? I would say that in certain circumstances you should be allowed to end your own life. If that gives you the option of not dying anyway in agonizing pain, for example. But putting and end to someone else (or potentially someone else if you want to look at it that way) just for your convenience is a different kettle of fish isn’t it? Everybody alive today was born at one stage, were a fetus at one stage before that. So what are you saying? Because you happened to be born you have the right to decide whether people that come after you should be born? Get your head on straight. You’re the one advocating for force on other people.. Literal dismemberment of their bodies before they are born. Your problem is that you don’t know what another person is.

@ga6589 I’m no expert but isn’t there something like the Unborn Victims of Violence Act that was passed in 2004? And according to that Act if a pregnant woman was killed in the commission of a felony the fetus is considered to be ‘a child in the uterus’? And that law was passed in accordance with the US Constitution. And 38 States have even harsher laws enacted in accordance with the US Constitution. Where I live the law regarding organ donation has recently changed. Previously it operated under an opt in system, now it’s an opt out system and I think that’s an improvement. And you’ve been going on about ‘bodily autonomy’? Well, if someone had bodily autonomy what would they be doing pregnant when they don’t want to be in the first place? Being pregnant when you don’t want to be is not ‘bodily autonomy’. And how can anyone ever guarantee that pregnancy or childbirth would result in injury anymore than you could guarantee crossing the street or walking up a set of stairs. Get with real life in this world and never take tomorrow morning for granted. I can be ambivalent about abortion because I believe there’s more to a human being than their physical body. People aren’t the whole you imagine them to be, they’re more than that. No one ever dies because souls exist in eternity. An abortion is only someone incarcerated in this world preventing the incarceration of another soul at that time and space. It’s frustrating for some of the unborn but also some have agreed to be incarcerated only to be aborted.

@@roxylasch9058 But I could be a potential father. With no say.

@justice4all411 Well, I know that when a child is born they and their mother tend to have separate bodies. Do you know that? If you don’t appreciate that fact what else does it not even occur to you to think about?
1
@justice4all411 Correct me if I’m wrong but weren’t you unborn at some stage in your existence? You didn’t just magically pop into existence did you? Or do you imagine that people are created in some other way? Where do fellow human beings come from?
1
@@roxylasch9058 Well, I would say that is where some sort of medical intervention would be appropriate. I wouldn’t say that the 1 or 2% justifies the other 98-99 of abortions. I am only advocating for human life here. How we regard our fellow beings. I have no no time for atheists and their view of the world.

@ga6589 Well then should he be expected to pay child support?
1
@AdamBladeTaylor I’m not so sure about that. I think communities could be better organized to deal with that sort of situation. Back in Roman times they used to leave newly born unwanted children out with the rubbish to be collected by the garbage men. It’s a shame that despite the advances in technology some human beings alive today haven’t advanced past that kind of mindset.
1
@ga6589 Well, if the woman decides to carry the child to term do you think the man should be responsible for paying maintenance for the welfare of that child? Have you thought about that? Or do you just want it one way and not the other?
