Well he’s known about it for a long time. It’s not like it’s news to him

@joyvillalobos7127 Well, I think you’ll find an awful lot of the rest of history isn’t exactly something to write home about either but yet, here we both are, seemingly on the right end of it. Don’t let the past make you angry, people make wrong decisions when they’re angry. I count myself lucky that I don’t live in a time when it’s acceptable for a person to own another and I find it’s not hard to cultivate a sense of gratitude for that

@turnmeondeadman4221 I’ve noticed that too. Even more so since the election. It’s when he describes people as disgusting that I think he’s being the most dangerous. Anti-maskers? The non-vaccinated? Disgusting! Like they’re some sort of vermin. And there’s plenty in his audience who soak it all up and range from “I’m finding it very hard to have empathy for these people” through to “Good riddance. Society’s better off without them. Haha, Darwin Award” like the good little fascists like they are.

I think heard Candice saying she has family members that don’t speak to her anymore. Cousins and that

Not liking it is the new disgusting apparently

It’s the confidence of seeing himself as an individual

@jasminerubin6026 Not at all. He thinks people of all races should be treated equally. No excuses

Would it not be discriminatory for the government to grant payments to one section of the population based on race? Didn’t the Biden administration already try this with payments to black farmers only and the Supreme Court struck it down?

I thought advancing the idea of systemic racism is a racist talking point in itself
1
@LOAblue I dunno. I’m not quite sure what the benefits of saying systemic racism exists are. Other than giving the kiss of life to racism and distinguishing people by their race. Sometimes you’re better off saying nothing and letting things die their natural death. Maybe talking about systemic racism is only a way of exploiting racial differences in a society for political gain?

Shameless David Pakman

There wasn’t much of a story there to this

There’s an involuntary aspect to slavery that you seem to be forgetting

@drock9009 why would someone work for a job that didn’t pay them anything when they could work another job that did?
