@akahina Masks don’t really do very much. But that’s still a very underrated comment. Fewer. 🤔 Wouldn’t there be some sort of gray area though? If ‘people’ was being used as a collective noun rather than referring to individual persons? Would it have to be ‘less of the people’ to be correct? ‘Fewer’, I think is a dying word. Or it’s entering retirement at least.

No, people should show up to vote in person or else apply for a mail in ballot for a legitimate reason. Otherwise there’s a whole bunch of ballots floating around for unscrupulous entities to scoop up to use for their preferred candidate . How that realization escapes you is almost beyond me. I can’t think you’re being genuine without thinking you’re stupid

@sandrastone4997 Well, you’ve got to understand that for all it’s virtues Autocorrect can be a bit of a nuisance sometimes. People spell one word and the computer overrides. You can’t always expect people to then go back and proofread something as throwaway as a YouTube comment. Autocorrect will sometimes outright refuse an apostrophe S at the end of a proper noun even if someone’s name is a proper noun which means that the apostrophe has to be left out if you wish to indicate that something belongs to them. In conversation though fewer is on it’s last legs. The vast majority of people need to be really switched on and intensely telling somebody something to use the word fewer when the word less would do near enough instead. With supermarkets, it was a ‘ten items or less’ aisle not a ‘ten items or fewer’. That was the death knell of the distinction of the use of the words fewer and less

@stevelaw3886 Neither, I just assumed that the comment might have been related to the video and somehow relevant to the topic in hand.

Biden’s age isn’t a fault, it’s his deterioration. And that’s not exactly his fault either, it’s his entire adult lifetime of being an absolute monstrosity of a person.

I’m not sure of what David is trying to say here. As I understood it the PUSA didn’t have the power to introduce ‘lockdowns’ but rather the power to introduce ‘Covid response measures’ lay with State Governors and that’s why there were different responses to Covid in different States. There were different responses in different States right? And David made a big meal out of how much worse Republican States were compared to Democrat States at the time. If it had of been up to the President wouldn’t it have applied equally to all the States? Is this yet another example of a paper thin, bs talking point from David Pakman? Remember Democrat Governors making it illegal for retirement homes to refuse to accept residents who had tested positive for Covid despite Covid being most lethal to the very elderly by a country mile? No, you probably don’t.
