This man and the Ukrainian soldiers and Ukrainian people are being iconized by the propagandists. It’s not a big deal that he’s stayed. He led his country into this war. He has to stay. Otherwise he wouldn’t have led his country into this war in the first place.

@Master_Petes_Theater Part of Putin’s reason for doing so was that he believed that Ukraine wasn’t actually a sovereign nation. There seems to be a lot of Ukrainians that disagree with that analysis though. I guess that’s how this conflict arose

@danevertt3210 I’ve lived long enough not to really get upset about anything anymore. I can put my faith in that it’s all for the best long term. As a counterpoint, how glad were you when the neocons and warhawks regained control of the Presidency and the Global American Empire could get back to it’s old tricks again? I mean, all the c*nts in this world sh*t themselves when Trump took office and did nothing but panic for four years. Now they’re back in the driving seat it must be such a relief to you, right?

And then he came out and said that if anyone wants to come to Ukraine and fight for them he’ll kit them out with armaments. 🤔 That doesn’t strike me as good behavior. I mean, I could actually go there and he’d dish me out a Kalashnikov and say away you go lad,, follow this person, do what they say and knock yourself out and have a google time fighting for ‘democracy’. Don’t tell me that’s not questionable. Propaganda it may be but there’s an evil in that. Plain as the nose on your face. There’s no winners in this Ukraine/Russia war. Guess who benefits from that? People that depend on morons being morons.

@LadyWhinesalot Under the rock that he was the leader of the country and now the country has been invaded by it’s more powerful neighbor. Zelensky made the decision that his country could have to suffer the consequences of being invaded in order to pursue his policies. Whether he was right or not to do so remains to be seen. Either way, it doesn’t pan out very well for Russia in the near future.

But David is reporting on reports of it anyway. 🤷Might turn out to have some substance to it! First I heard of it here. How would I know if it didn’t?

I mean, I’m not saying he’s wrong in this particular instance, but it would make it a lot simpler for me in future if I just listened to him and didn’t bother with random people in his comments section. @danevertt3210 No. I don’t blame Biden directly but I do regard him as complicit in how the current situation has turned out. I wouldn’t say it would necessarily have turned out any different under Trump or if anyone else was President either. I’m pretty sure this situation would have come about a lot sooner if Hillary had of won the Presidency in 2016 though. Putin has been forced to move to stop the GAE and I don’t know what you’re laughing about because if that means nuclear war he must be seen to be prepared to go there. . Not every country in this world supports the ‘empire of lies’ but clearly you do. But clearly you do. Because you’re an American as****e. Is it a mystery to you as to why Americans are despised across so much of the globe? While at the same time thinking so many of your fellow citizens are so ignorant? Put two and two together and face up to that adding up to four.

@kimberlyaustin6677 No. I’m not saying anything like that. Putin doesn’t have, or never will have, the ability to invade the USA. I think he’s bitten off more than he can chew by invading Ukraine. That’s how much of a corner he was backed into. I can’t see this working out well for him but he is determined to give it a try. I’m pretty sure that he’s already decided that he’s prepared to use nukes if it comes to it. That’s the only leverage he has. Don’t tell me the American leadership are crazy enough to force him down that road Make no mistake, Putin will pull the trigger if he has to but that is up to the US if they decide to push it that far. The US knows not to, they’ll try another way first. It’s not going to work out the way they want though. They are being stood up to. And that’s a good thing. You’re either witnessing the end of the GAE or pretty much the end of life on earth. What’s your choice?

@MasterworksCreative Well, I can’t pretend to know much about it but I have always thought Zelensky had a strong character. That was my first impression of him and I’ve known little of him since. However, his country has just been invaded and it looks like his government is about to be overthrown and territory subsequently annexed. 🤔 That’s not what I’d call a good result Best I could do is unpreventable and beyond his control. In which case, he should have gathered that himself beforehand. He chose to go down this road. It’s not for me to say he was wrong. But he has said that if foreign nationals want to come to Ukraine and fight he will arm them. And promoted handing out arms to middle aged women. And forbidden all men aged 18-60 from leaving the country. That’s all men In their fifties. What sort of person does things like that?

@MasterworksCreative As far as I remember Zelensky ran for President with improving relations with Russia as part of his platform. More recent events are not improved relations. Now Zelensky seems to be intent on sacrificing the country. All men 18-60 to report for draft, can’t flee the country. 60yo men expected to fight. He was handling out small arms to a bunch of grannies there last week. Next he’s reportedly letting criminals out of prison to be redeem themselves by volunteering for the most dangerous areas. He’s risking a nuclear conflict by appealing for a no fly zone! F*ck him. He’s an F’in C. A puppet ruler of a puppet state. Surely, at some level, he must realize he’s a dead man walking

@sndspderbytes if Ukraine had of insisted on keeping its nuclear weapons there would never been any such thing as the country of Ukraine. Wasn’t there like a Minsk agreement or Minsk accords put in place after the fighting first broke after the coup in 2014?

@richardharris8538 I am not a Christian but it’s an understatement to say I have a ‘belief in spirits’ . And I, fortunately, am not persecuted. Except, maybe, at a stretch, by people such as yourself. You’re the one who has blind faith in your rationality. You’re the one who has an entitlement to dismiss people people who know what you don’t. And lump them in with the followers and the faithful and the believers of various religions. Like rational thoughts is your own dogma, your own religion. You have faith in that. So you’re kinda right that kind of religion or faith does more harm than good but you haven’t twigged on that your faith, your non belief in a religion is every but as much a religion as those you, perhaps rightfully, protest against. I would say rightfully. I sure there’s merits to your arguments. And I’m pretty sure I would agree with a lot of them. But why stop there? Why adopt the religion of non belief? Why not carry on down that road of questioning and see if you can get any closer to what’s really going on in your life? Once you get your length , it’s not really the the time to get lazy. It’s when the hard work begins.

@kimberlyaustin6677 I don’t think anyone would be hoping for a nuclear exchange. The US did manage to push him into invading Ukraine though. That’s not good for him so you never know

@geraltrivia6148 That passing of a firearms course sounds sensible. I mean, if you want to own one, surely you should want to pass that course first.(And there should be no age restrictions on that course and no cost). I’m from Northern Ireland and if you were caught with a firearm you won’t supposed to have or even possession of ammunition you were looking at anything between four to fifteen years. Four years minimum, far more likely the top end of twelve to fifteen depending who you were and how you chose to cooperate. In fairness, if you were caught with firearms on your property it was incredibly unlikely you had them solely for personal self defense. You were just storing them for a trigger man. So fifteen years you could get. That’s a big sentence in the UK As an aside, my friend’s uncle made the Guinness Book of Records by getting the longest prison sentence in British judicial history back in the 80’s . Nine hundred and sixty something years he got but he fought an appeal and got out in four. I’ve always thought he was guilty as sin though. According to legend he went to holiday in America once and they wouldn’t let him in and I was told they threw him in the clink until they sent him back home. And, therefore, he refused to wear a prison uniform and walked around naked the whole time. 🤔 not too sure about that one, his nephew is a bit of a b*llsh*tter but it would’ve been like him

If that makes someone dig into an even deeper hole for themselves, that’s their problem not mine.
