@Pendergasted So it doesn’t matter if the documents were classified or not some anonymous glorified librarian has the authority to overrule the wishes of a former duly elected President of the United States? Is that what you’re saying? Something about this whole saga just doesn’t pass the smell test with me.. There’s definitely something fishy about the FBI and DOJ her. And that’s not making any claim that Trump is clean, just that this “investigation’ is a real bad look for the US.

@Pendergasted Well, I want to see it definitively proved in a court of law that he wasn’t entitled to be in possession of any of the documents he had in his possession. And even if that should prove to be the case he still has the defense of reliance. That he was relying on legal advice he’d taken from others. How you don’t see the actions of the DOJ as an attempt to attack and intimidate the political opponents of the current regime is beyond me. That’s how every government across the world sees it whether they’re on board with it or not. Anybody with any wit sees it that way too.

@Pendergasted What crimes? If you can’t look at it in the context of the behavior of the FBI and the DOJ both before and after Trump’s victory in 2016 then we aren’t talking off the same page. A businessman, an outsider, entered the race and first took the Republican nomination and then took the President. Look at how the establishment has reacted and continues to react. Democrats, Republicans, the media, Intelligence agencies, the FBI, the DOJ. The likes of our David here. All went at him tooth and nail. And continue to go at him with all they’ve got. You’ll never convince me that Trump’s opposition are the good guys and I think I’m safe in saying most of the world’s population obviously feels the same way too
