Did she make it against the law for retirement homes to refuse Covid positive residents when this was a virus that largely killed old people? Who did? Did the Governors that did that ‘botch’ their response or did they take advantage of the situation by exacerbating the number of deaths to dunk on their political opposition?’

I suppose, as far as they’re concerned, preforming an abortion is worse than child abuse because, to them, it necessarily involves the destruction of a child. A termination. Eradicating another person. And they’re against that. You must not see it like that. Hence the differing opinions.

@jenkem4464 A collection of cells is called an embryo not a fetus as far as I know. Fetus means ‘unborn offspring’ or something like that. You’re really getting into a debate as to whether consciousness exists independently from a body. Pro-lifers tend to believe so. So called ‘’pro-choicers’ tend not to believe so. Until you have a definitive answer to that, ‘pro-choice’ is not pro-choice because it’s not a fully informed choice. It might be settled in your mind but it’s settled for many on the opposing side in the other direction. That’s why the issue inflames the passions on both sides of the argument, people’s whole worldview self identity are caught up in it. To resolve this point of contention will require moving away from the particular issue and coming to a resolution at a deeper level. The possibility exists that neither side is entirely wrong. Also, who the f**k is the person that supposedly got a 10yo pregnant in OK in this past couple of months? Is there a police investigation into this or was that a made up, fake news story manufactured for political expediency? 🤷
