  3. I reject the suggestion that we need to have ‘a discussion and work out solutions’. That is neither sensible or balanced from some other perspectives. Saying there needs to be a discussion is itself already extracting a concession from the hardliners on the ‘no trans in women’s sports’ group.

  4. ‘The right’ doesn’t want a place in any such dialogue. Their position ought to be ‘there is no dialogue to be had on this issue’. Leave the crazy talk to the crazies or similar such hardline stance. A “Not so fast lefties, this isn’t open for discussion” approach.

  5.  @unluckygamer692  There’s also the argument to be had that no, no we don’t need more people willing to have their mind changed. What could be needed is more people willing to hold the line.
