I'm pretty sure it is.
42
But he's right. Just because people get outraged doesn't mean words should lose all meaning.
34
@chriscoyne8034 Unsubstantiated claim from your side. I have yet to see any Israeli claim that Palestinians don't exist or don't have a right to exist.
22
I think Trump knowing why he wants something is already too much of an assumption. He typically just says something on a whim and then doubles down on it.
21
Well, they also dug trenches in the Red Forest at Chernobyl and camped there for several days. 🤷♂
21
@Leto2ndAtreides It will not.
20
Oh, come on. Not even Putin himself would disagree. 😛
20
Yeah, but having someone else pay for it would be even better! 😛
18
He has the concept of a plan! /s
17
@alexiskiri9693 Germany has sent: 116.000 winter jackets 80.000 winter trousers 240.000 winter hats These are official numbers of already delivered items.
16
I think the point is that you have to make an effort not to harm civilians. So carpet coming a city because there's some enemy soldiers somewhere in the area would be a war crime; targeting a building with enemy soldiers is not.
16
@arog7493 I didn't find it funny, I just found it accurate. I'm from Germany, go, figure. :P
12
@seancidy6008 This is still nonsense. It's not like Russia losing in Ukraine would destroy Russia. Nobody even thinks about attacking Russia proper. That's why using nuclear weapons would be completely bonkers, because then the brakes would come off and Russia would really lose.
12
I'm in favor! Greetings from Germany.
12
Ukraine actually moved one of their best known drone unit to that part of the front. And they have been very busy ...
10
@seancidy6008 I disagree with the idea that Russia would be mad enough to risk a war with NATO for Ukraine. Russia has threatened a nuclear response multiple times. Just repeating the same threat again and again will not change my opinion. I think we can end this discussion here.
9
I think they will push the russian artillery further away before they attempt a larger crossing.
9
Yup. Escalation _mis_management would be more appropriate.
8
Someone stronger has to make sure the russians keep their word. That's what Zelensky means when he's talking about security guarantees.
8
To Russia only 'real' Russians count. (i.e. those from Moscow, St.Petersburg etc.) Everyone else is expendable. That's one reason they want Ukraine. More men they may send to the front. Just like they did with those from the "new territories" aka LPR and DPR. They actually distinguish in speech between "Russians" (the 'real ones') and "Russian citizens" (the expendable ones). Everyone can become a Russian citizen but you have to be born a 'real' Russian.
7
@rymdalkis As the video explains, we only need to get 1/15th as serious as Russia ...
7
Now you are convinced? Oh my.
6
@Percival5 Anders is not a journalist. He's a professional military - as in working actively in and for the military - analyst.
6
If it was a trap, it didn't work. 😛
6
Yep. You should try that.
6
But there were many instances where Israel was ready to accept some kind of two-state solution. That seems to clearly rule out any intention of genocide.
6
We should compare him to a Mafia boss. Not only is that accurate, it's also a character type the public is familiar with.
5
@seancidy6008 I have no idea what you are trying to say.
5
@seancidy6008 You assume too much, that's why. Be clear in what you are trying to say. I don't care about any parallels you want me to see. Just say it.
5
Normal Russian conscripts are not to be sent to the war. Though they try to pressure as many of them to sign contracts as they can. (Or sign the contracts for them ...)
5
"Do you think UAF is being fed options from NATO war gaming ?" Even though I wasn't asked, I'll give my opinion. ;) Since it doesn't really cost anything to give them options, it would be stupid not to do so. So, yes, of course they will get suggestions from NATO.
5
Ne he's not. He's a narcissist and a grifter without any deeper convictions.
5
As was the missile that landed in Poland. Vanished from the news pretty quickly.
5
That's just YouTube. They seem to delete comments almost randomly.
5
@tedferkin The leg wraps I have seen on video already look like ripped up bed sheets.
5
@foxtrotunit1269 Nah, the first unit is already deceased or disabled.
5
@micindir4213 That's ridiculous. Russia has no chance against NATO whatsoever.
4
"What I find interesting is that the US is pretty much in full control over the information space globally," Huh? How did you come to this conclusion? The hordes of Russian trolls in the various comment sections seems to disprove that claim quite handily.
4
You could just write "I'm a russian troll." It's shorter and the meaning is the same.
4
If the main offensive went as originally planned, they wouldn't have to do this.
4
@cl8804 I can only guess what you mean. But first, Anders didn't deny anything and second, it's not obvious at all.
4
Right. And one of the outcomes of that peace deal is North Koreans fighting against Europe. I wonder if we are going to learn anything from that lesson.
4
@Ragnaroz6000 The Ukrainian company Himera is building relay systems for this purpose.
4
What are you referring to? Can't find anything.
4
Well, you see, Trump doesn't really believe in the importance of territorial sovereignty, so …
4
As has been clearly stated, for something to be a genocide, the intent to make a specific group cease to exist has to be there. I don't think that's the case with Palestinians at all. Even the most rightwing Israeli would probably be fine with Palestinians just going elsewhere.
4
A new front? With what? T-54s?
4
Bayraktars are operating in the Kherson region. That should answer the question about control of the skies.
4
The US is not doing it alone either. At least Scholz is on board with it. (Not the German government; just Scholz. Unfortunately, as the chancellor he pretty much has the final say.)
4
So why don't you? You know, instead of just insinuating that Anders is not credible.
