  1.  Peter Mercado  that makes it worse since Germany is de facto leader of EU and should have stick with America as part of the Western Liberal order,regardless of need. But with Germany and other EU members willing to cozy up to Russia,China,Turkey and Iran for short term gains is it surprising to see EU members aligning with dictatorships?
