@djeio they want to help Mali because if Mali fell to IS the security of entire Sub Saharan Africa will be compromised. Does this include securing European financial interest in the Sahel,yes,but that does not mean this wont be beneficient to local people

@waleed8530 what is your solution then? Look at Sub Saharan Africa,nomads and farmers butchered each other,human trafficker and weapons flow to Libya,extremists used it as springboard,etc. I understand that you are angry at christian troops entering a majority muslim land because it looks like the crusade era,but believe me there are many muslims in British Army and if African Union are willing to deploy peacekeepers there then they will be welcome
