@codycast I can't give you a magic formula... Just follow your heart. If your landlady is living with you in the same house and she reminds you of your mother... just pay your rent (if you can). Why are you making this so complicated?

@codycast Well.... good for you! Glad you're fortunate enough to have some money saved up to get you through this Hell. Not everyone does. Many people live pay check to pay check. Ever been to the poor side of town? There's gonna be a lot of homeless "famlies" in the coming months, because our government (who's supposed to serve the people) turned their backs on us. Same nightmare as 2008... only worse. When I say "our government", I mean both R's and D's. Not paying the rent is about sending a message to our elected officials to get off of their butts and do their jobs. Obviously you come from a position of privilage...
