  1. 1983 I was visiting in the US. I caught a "rare" bug that paralized and almost killed me. The symptoms didn't really kick in until the last days of my vacation. Luckily I had health care back in my country and they were able to heal me. I was in a special hospital for 6 weeks with treatment and therapy... I paid 10 DM a day for the first 10 days = 100 DM.... that's it.
