Oh my goodness! I love this video. I have thyroid issues so, I'm always cold in winter. Now I started to heat my rooms with a heater in each room that I am in. It's only on when I'm in there and this has helped a lot. But watching you cook a hot pod in your donabe made me think that I need to do that. Now I have an electric stove so I can't use that kind of a pot. But I found a wonderful hot pot that you plug in and cook in. I also ordered some dashi powder and some ginger drink powder because dashi powder really makes the soups delicious and ginger drink is a great idea!! That's quite a nice comforter you have on the bed there, I have cats so I don't need one of those.😂😊 All these ideas are very good. Now for the water you drink in the morning, is that just boiled water that's allowed to cool for a while or maybe didn't? Quite understand that and thank you❤ very pleasant to watch your videos

I understand that I was born in Niagara falls, New York and I couldn't heat my house there the way that I do my home here

I think it's just so healthful. All those vegetables in a lovely broth. And you know if you add ginger or root vegetables or whatever it's just going to enhance the flavor. It's going to be delicious. It's going to make you warm and it's going to make you feel good. And you'll get a lot more vegetables!! I love this. I love soup❤❤❤❤ All your suggestions, are terrific! Thank you so much!

I did wonder what that sweet drink was. I drank decaf tea with honey and it's really delicious

@JapanwithNao I will be enjoying the soups very soon!! Now I have to go ways to get burdock root because here in West Virginia in the United States we have limited (interesting) root vegetables. I'm positive the burdock root would keep well and be really helpful

I never saw him before today and the first one I saw was, " why no central heating?" Now I have friends that really know and love Japanese and Korean culture and I love all things Japan. And I thought let me watch this! And after I watched it, I thought oh this guy is intelligent and well spoken and explains things really well, his video was well done and interesting. So now I'm watching another one.😊

Americans could learn a lot from Japanese. I love to tatami tables. I don't have one, but I would love to. And think about spending nights with your family. Talk blissfully under this warm blanket around the table, playing games and then even lying down together to go to sleep there. Or in the other case being around that little fire pit making tea and chatting and talking about your day... Americans used to do this around the dinner table and they don't do that anymore. It's part of the breakdown of the nuclear. I have a wall heater in my bedroom that I use for heating the bedroom at night time, which doesn't take much electricity at all and in my living room. I have a propane here which is extremely efficient and does a very good job and cost me about $20 a month to run. So I have both of these very efficient heaters in the rooms that I use the most and it has seriously decreased. My electric bill and everybody is nice and warm. 😊
