  6. You're an awesome human! Our dog was just like that for awhile when we rescued him. Anytime we put him in the car, he would get so sad. I'm sure he thought we were taking him back to the shelter. After a few weeks, he realized he was home forever. We got to enjoy 13 wonderful years with him.
