  1. On what basis is a vegetarian diet more ethical? Does this child have any idea how many insects, birds and mammals are displaced, poisoned, and mutilated by plant-based agriculture? Not to mention that plants contain phytotoxins and far fewer nutrients than animal products, and have to be shipped and trucked long distances in most cases. Nothing is more sustainable from an environmental and nutrition standpoint, than locally raised beef and dairy products.
