  2. Didn't the judge threaten to charge him with perjury for withdrawing his guilty plea on the basis that that would be lying to the court? Nothing to see here, folks, this isn't a Kafka-esque nightmare at all.

  3.  @mikemcnair2026  The withheld evidence was that no actual crime occurred. It was a deliberate setup to "get him to lie so he can be prosecuted or fired." He was charged with perjury for not remembering every detail of a conversation the FBI already had a transcript of. It was entrapment. More to the point, the judge wanted to charge him with perjury for pleading not guilty of perjury. If you can't see how this was a political hitjob from the start, I'm sorry your special ed teacher failed you.
