  1. I think Zelenskyy might be calling Trump's bluff. Trump said aid would continue if Zelenskyy goes to the negotiating table. Zelenskyy can go to the table from a position of strength by saying, "Hey, Putin, you clearly can't keep this up--let's at least talk." Then Zelenskyy doesn't have to agree to anything but he can tell the US, look, we gave Russia a chance and they rejected Ukraine's terms. It is good to do this BEFORE the election, and then Trump looks like an idiot.
