  1. Reverse engineering those huge turbine engines seems tough though. I was actually a mechanic on them for general repair and replacement I was the guy that took the engine off and gave it to the engine guy also fixed drive shafts hydraulics rotors etc.

  4.  @turnback9866  Mil Mi-26 looks interesting wonder how much fuel it uses and how big engines are. it’s crazy how large some of those Turbine engines can get amazing to think of the power they put out. I doubt Russia wants to help China that much with those big beautiful expensive things. Perhaps the Chinook is just right for what they need not the biggest but the best for their situation???
