The evidence is a transcript from Turkey and Saudia Arabia acting shady lying and finally admitting to killing him. The security and princes thugs probably chopped him up. It was done in a consulate because they have legal rights there... A consulate is basically another country thats why some people hide there. The reason for wanting to punish Saudi Arabia isnt hard to understand look up how they act who they support.
