  1. @ no you cannot not once they’ve sold the debt. At least it didn’t work for me the original debt holder wouldn’t let me pay them and referred me to the debt collection agency they sold the debt to.

  2. I lost my mind with last debt collector was gonna quit job to keep them from getting anything. I know I owed them but had literally nothing to give and to threaten to garish my wages in that situation was toxic for me. He was bluffing the debt was like 10 years old and really I don’t care about the 150 I owe when they say interest grew it to 450 lol NO I’m not paying interest on a bill that I feel was dishonest to start with. I went to hospital asked to pay everything up front they played game hospitals usually do and send me another bill 3 months later saying I was late on it?!?!? Our community hospital is trash probably racist.

  3. If the debt is large enough I imagine it’ll follow you a lot more? Interesting side note: Chinese people are not allowed to declare bankruptcy they will simply have wages garnished until they die.
