  1. There were a lot of problems in the Apollo missions. Apollo 1 burned its astronauts to death on the launch pad, Apollo 11 suffered computer failures all the way down to the surface and had to be piloted manually, almost scrubbing the mission, and Apollo 13 had a fairly well documented disaster and it is a small miracle that those astronauts didn't also die. Space is difficult, especially on a comparatively small budget to the Apollo programme.

  6. Wind turbines create emissions throughout their manufacturing, installation and decommissioning, yes. Fossil fuel plants also do that, but also directly produce emissions every single day of their operational lives. Over the total life cycle of a wind turbine, its emissions per watt are far lower. Don't let perfect be the enemy of good.

The BBC runs Xmas programming every year etc etc. This particular story gets a mention because its a significant change to Ukrainian tradition. Anyone who moans about Xmas not getting a mention is either blind and deaf, a moron, or pushing a bs culture war agenda because they have nothing better to do.

There's literally nothing stopping the Orthodox church from celebrating Christmas whenever they like, in the same way Muslims in many western nations are free to celebrate Eid even though the holiday season is usually aligned with Catholic or Protestant Christian dates.
