  2. Your comment is the joke. The military aren't concentrated on it, they just allowed some of their aircraft to be used as a proof of concept demonstration during sorties that would have happened anyway.

  4. ​ @death_parade relying on US supplies of fuel just adds logistical burden, as we saw in WWII with the huge efforts taken to protect atlantic convoys. This won't ever entirely replace that, but if it reduces the number of tankers needed, that's a win
