Comments by "Orbital_Inclination" (@Orbital_Inclination) on "“BBC Acted Swiftly” Jermaine Jenas Sacked Amid Colleague Messages Claim" video.
@kopite998 receiving sexual messages from a co-worker is playing the victim? Really?

@tracyjacob7091 'She gave him her number' - they were work colleagues, genius 😂
5
@tracyjacob7091 no, she shouldn't get the sack for being his colleague and receiving messages from him. There is zero evidence she reciprocated, and Jenas said he owed "everyone an apology, especially the women" he was messaging, and added: "I am sorry for what I have put them through." Clearly he was at fault.

Get a grip

@richvan-gasse2916 he owned up to it
2
@marcuskingstanley9522 Jenas said he owed "everyone an apology, especially the women" he was messaging, and added: "I am sorry for what I have put them through." He's the one that has called them inappropriate, not me, so you'd have to ask him why he thinks that.

Cheated on his wife via messages with female colleagues
2
So 'two tier' is now being used to describe both harsher and softer treatment for minorities? Amazing mental gymnastics from the usual crowd 😂
2
@markw4613 the standard backpedal of someone who's just been called out. "I was only kidding mate" is the common refrain of the recently shown-up.
2
@Stand4Righteousness Jenas said he owed "everyone an apology, especially the women" he was messaging, and added: "I am sorry for what I have put them through." Doesn't sound like a lighthearted joke, especially when he considered what he wrote to constitute cheating on his wife.
2
@Stand4Righteousness clearly not, but keep on driving that misogynistic agenda if it makes you feel better
2
Why should he involve the public? This is a private HR matter, not a criminal case in the public interest.
1
Jenas has admitted it, it's not alleged.
1
Cheated on his wife by sending inappropriate messages to female colleagues - his words, not mine
1
You'll be waiting a while
1
Surely this is a good thing?
1
He's admitted to sending inappropriate texts to female colleagues, but beyond that I imagine he wants the details kept quiet
1
@keithchegwin1222 no-one said it was a crime. It was still deemed as inappropriate behaviour. Jenas said he owed "everyone an apology, especially the women" he was messaging, and added: "I am sorry for what I have put them through."
1
@markcarson8 🤡
1
You're assuming he was originally hired based on his skin colour alone? Get a grip
1
Jenas himself has admitted he sent inappropriate messages that constituted cheating on his wife
1
He sent inappropriate texts to female colleagues, which he has admitted constitute cheating on his wife
1
Jenas sent inappropriate sexual messages to female colleagues, which he admits constitute cheating. Stop making things up to fit your weird agenda.
1
He didn't need to break any laws, it wasn't a criminal case, just an internal HR issue
1
@sprre3899 it wasn't meant as a joke, just the usual bigoted nonsense from the usual crowd
1
That's the downside of working in that media, I suppose. Don't want to get called out? Don't cheat on your wife.
1
@warrengosling it would only be a double standard if the Saville thing was still happening (or Edwards, for that matter) and the BBC only removed Jenas. This is progress.
1
Jenas admitted cheating on his wife by sending inappropriate texts to female colleagues
1
Rent free. DEI has nothing to do with it.
1
"Women should just accept sexual messages from men, whether they want them or not"
1
@aaronmail8836 again, they're work colleagues, it's pretty common practice.
1
Who said anything about it being a crime? It's an internal HR issue, not a criminal court.
