@WarpedYT 100% and if they both survive you gotta run them til they puke! careful with the nitrous though. chances are the rings won't be gapped for it and it'll just butt the rings once they get to hot and it'll melt the pistons or break the ringlands. either way slowmo time will be worth it

@joshuagibson2520 I mean it'd be expensive to go another route, Coyote VS LS platform V8 that would make it more of a modern day test though.

@WarpedYT oh absolutely! honestly... I believe it would settle the whole Ford VS Chevy thing real quick! lol and older engines are a bit cheaper but to be fair one might want to build each one as close to spec as possible to level the playing field!

doing a turbo 4cyl vs old school v8 wouldn't work well cause the V8 would always win that regardless if the 4cyl had a turbo on it or not cause the torque curves would be vastly different. V8's always have more low end torque where as 4cyl engines (especially turbocharged) wouldn't build their torque until higher in the RPM band. it just wouldn't be a fair fight lol

@WarpedYT time to scour FB marketplace for a few cheap deals. even then finding bone stock engines to spec out and put identical camshafts in to make it a true even match up wouldn't be easy to do but can be achieved if you built both from the ground up but then you're talking some serious coin. but it can be done.
