@ it was sold for nefarious purposes. The Chinese economy is facing collapse. Record youth unemployment. Collapsing infrastructure and the introduction of the social credit system. Xi has made himself an authoritarian figure who cares nothing for the Chinese people. Hatred of foreigners in China itself is now widespread. Attacks on westerners are hidden on the Chinese internet ( especially the Japanese ). Forced labour camps and child labour. Hong Kong was promised protected status after the British left. Any dissent in China or Hong Kong is now punished by disappearance or jail terms. Now you tell me that the CCP isn’t evil ? Ok dream on.
