@kjp1232 that is absolutely true. A family from Romania live down the road from my home. They’re lovely people but asked me the other day how to get an extra bedroom for their newborn child. They live in a brand new built flat and were living off Universal Credit. To be fair the wife is now working but the housing policy of the UK is all wrong. People with a local connection are supposed to be housed first. It’s all wrong. What would a British family be offered in Romania ?
