  6. The bulk modulus of water is around 2.15 GPa, while normal salinity seawater has a bulk modulus around 2.34 GPa. By comparison, low porosity steels have bulk moduli in the range of 155 to 165 GPa.

  8. The Jeune Ecole may well work with the proliferation of cheap 5th generation tactical nuclear warheads that do not even require highly enriched uranium or plutonium to produce. Not to mention nice Mr. Putin's nuclear drone submarines that officially carry a 2 MT warhead (2 orders of magnitude more powerful than the Crossroads Baker underwater detonation) and unofficially up to a 200 MT warhead. To paraphrase Einstein, "I know not what naval weapons WW3 will be fought with, but WW4 will be fought with Floaty Logs".
