I have lived in Mexico for almost four years and vacationed here for fourteen years prior to that. While I love Cancun, and think the Tulum beach is probably the most beautiful beach I've seen so far, I would also advise avoiding the Riviera Maya right now, BUT I wouldn't suggest Baja either due to increased cartel violence. While gorgeous, Los Cabos is currently considered one of the more dangerous cities in the world. And yes, that beach you filmed on was stunning - Anne

El Griiiiiiitoooo! Viva Mexico! Really informative video. I love restaurants with open kitchens, they're usually kept cleaner because customers can see in them - Anne

Great info guys. Manzanillo/Barra de Navidad/Melaque and Mexico City also have expat communities for those who feel they need and/or want them. Queretero might be another good one to add to your list if you do a second video. Glad you mentioned Durango, I'm really interested in checking it out, it wasn't on my list until now :) - Anne

Glad to see you guys back! Yep, everything is more expensive here now between the fx and the supply issues. Yes, foreigners on fixed incomes are feeling a HUGE difference - Anne

Excellent information! The research you guys are doing is very impressive - Anne

Got to go to Costco for cotton linens. Straight up. The great thing about the temperate areas of Mexico when you're talking about diet is that many of us do so much more walking here. Wahoo! Hubby and I almost always share dishes. - Anne

That was an impressive load of information, great job! - Anne

Good video. Talking about the fear of uprooting your life to step in to the unknown is on point. It's terrifying, and anyone who does or has done it is very brave. We're quite a bunch! - Anne

Very informative content, thank you. Of your five I've only been to PV, it's a fun city. The other four are on my bucket list - Anne

Great short. The fish chasing each other in circles was so cute! - Anne

First time I've ever been first to comment on anyone's videos :) Anne

There's also a green one -- Anne

Great content. I love to travel in Mexico by bus. A reminder that anyone in Mexico on an FMM also has to carry their passports - Anne

I'm excited to see where you go next. Since you're leaving Mexico, and that's where I live, I may not watch ALL your videos, but I'm planning to stay subscribed for the time being. Safe travels guys!!! - Anne

Good info. I protect myself from taxi scams in Yucatan by using one of four regular drivers I know personally. If they aren't available, I not only find out the price up front, I also pay right away to avoid a debate at my destination. The other thing to do is to ask if they have change for the amount you have if it's not exact. It's not uncommon for a taxi driver to say at the end of the trip that they don't have change for the bill you have. I hate that ATM conversion rate scam, I just see it as robbery straight up - Anne

Well done, I love food videos - Anne

Good video, thanks for taking us along! - Anne

@jackieturner4629 only tourists need to carry their passports with their FMMs. As a resident, you only need to carry your residency card.

Added to bucket list, thanks Apryl and Rondel! - Anne

Mexico City is fabulous! - Anne

Please use the words house keeper instead of maid

You're spot-on about the bus systems in Mexico, they really are excellent! Puebla has been on my bucket list for six years, I'm determined to get there. Good video guys - Anne

Sounds like the people in El Salvador are very much like the people in Mexico when it comes to surviving - Anne

This video was fun! I don't like the taste of beer so if I go somewhere and that's all they have, I order a chelada with a light beer like Sol. My husband on the other hand loves beer. His favourite is Heineken, but he also appreciates Indio....and all other beers. 😂 And hardly any Mexican people where we live drink Corona. Rondel, you're not darker 😊 - Anne

Love the research you do and share with us! I knew about all these inventions, but we can't share them too often - Anne

The US needs to wake the f*ck up. That's all.

Beautiful city! First time I've heard of upcharges in an Airbnb. Love that market, tourist prices I assume since it's a tourist city? That woman you spoke with was very helpful. You clearly made an impression on that little girl. Good video, thanks - Anne

Good for you guys for giving true info, thanks! - Anne

I hear you on the used sponges in Mexican Airbnbs, I never understood that. The first thing I did was throw them out. I never jump puddles in the streets of Mexico, too afraid I'll fall on the landing. All the food looked amazing - Anne

I'm very interested to hear about how your online classes have been affected.

You sound bitter

Technology in Panama is also top-notch as five of the world’s major fiber optic cables intersect there, so another plus. 100 countries, that's a lot. Safe and happy travels - Anne

@TheYarbros perhaps it is cultural. I was always taught that the term house keeper was preferred. I could be completely wrong…

Just popped in to see where you all are at, EXCELLENT informational video! - Anne

I hate to say it...but the rest of us who are looking on the US from the outside are horrified

Bus travel is super in Mexico! Loved our time in Queretaro, it's very clean. Sounds as though that first AirBnB is in need of an extermination. You're not alone, any of us who've lived in Mexico for any amount of time have experienced tummy issues. Straight up and honest content, thanks. - Anne

Your footage of the ostrich showed how big they actually are, well done. I'm not normally a fan of zoos but that one looked pretty good. I'm assuming you didn't go to the two zoos in Merida while you were living there? I wouldn't recommend either of them - Anne

Popped back in guys. Great shots of the flora! Living in Mexico and loving that there's no trash in Panama! At exactly 14.0 I'm with you! I've wanted to go to Panama for years, I WILL get there!

My mouth was watering with those pastor tacos! I love tacos! I know you guys know, but go where the lineup is!

The US media is all about fear

I LOVED Guanajuato! The callejones are amazing. You're so right, romantic and charming! If you have the nerve, check out the Mummy Museum next time you go, it's really something! - Anne

Very difficult topic, brave of you to take it on. I knew when I saw the title of the video that you would get some blowback in the comments, but love how you ask for answers to educate yourselves and us! I've not asked many but Mexican friends I've asked have told me that the darker your skin is in Mexico, the more you're thought of as less educated and having less money. That's also why they've said they cover up in the sun...they don't want to get any darker from the sun. I'm not here to offend, just also to learn - Anne

Kinda like people from the US coming to Mexico, right?
1
And it will happen again. Over and over and over. Until all of you people in the US vote them all down.
1
I just love that you're always supporting and advertising the local people - Anne
