@Sataka23 Canada isn't much different than the US. The cities are blue and the rural and smaller towns are red for the most part if you're using American colours. The parties didn't used to be all that different. It's just that the Liberals were the Catholic and labour union party and the Conservatives were the WASP and business party. To the extent that an area like the Maritimes was a Liberal stronghold more recently I'd chalk that up to them being stuck in the past and not getting the worst effects of Liberal policy. Now they know better because they got a huge dose of it in the last few years.
