The Russian military has a much smaller budget than the US in dollars but their salaries are lower so the relative strength is not reflected by that. The US has the world's reserve currency which makes them powerful in a lot of ways but they can't print artillery shells.

  8. Putin has the green light to keep going as long as Biden keeps pouring fuel on the fire. Trump coming in and potentially offering a peace deal will put him in the position that he'll lose a lot of sympathy if he doesn't take it. Maybe he isn't satisfied with what he's gained so far. This is especially true after all the escalations. Trump could also inspire young men to join the military which they aren't doing now. Basically Putin would rather deal with a bunch of idiots.

  12. I would be able to handle it if we didn't let the whole world pour into the country. I'd prefer it not to be that way but it's laughable to say you're defending yourself when you can't even control your own border.

  13. This thing about China's demographics is a poor argument. They have well over a billion people. Every other advanced country has a below replacement birthrate. The difference is that western countries try to mitigate that by importing garbage which is an even bigger problem than the one they claim to be solving.
