  4.  @Hobbes746  Well they did it back then but all they do now is talk. It's pathetic. I prefer to believe that they put men on the moon but it makes me wonder sometimes. At any rate it's a sad state of affairs. The US has lost its balls in a big way.

  7.  @motokid6008  That's the sad thing. Why stop going to the moon. Put a station there. Would be a lot cooler to have guys up there rather than making videos eating ice cream in microgravity in lower earth orbit and hitching a ride with the Russians to get there. Loser mentality.

I'm not an expert on space travel and I haven't looked into it enough to take a side but if these experts could deliver a manned moon landing some time soon it would go a long way settling the matter. If you're more worried about polarization of the USA than the USA doing great things then you are part of the problem of why we can't do these things anymore.
