  1. I think there were more better artists in those past decades and I think young people can also recognize that. I was a teenager in the 90s and I always thought the 70s was the best decade for music and I still think that. I played music for a guy at work 20 years my junior and he preferred music from the 90s to what was is on offer now. This is especially true in rock. I think music was just better then. I mean isn't Mozart better than most later classical composers? Are there not golden periods for architecture and painting?
