  1. All the Slavs were invaders after the fall of the Roman Empire. In Poland's case there were Germanic and Celtic people where they settled. I bet you there was a town or village there at what became Warsaw. Catholicism is a big part of Polish culture. Well they got that from the Italians (like you claim the Russians got ballet) about 500 years after the rest of Europe. Poland still has a culture and so does Russia.
