  18.  @12OZK12  Yeah. Militarily non-aligned. Also known as neutral. Switzerland is neutral. They have strong trade ties with the rest of Europe but they refuse to take sides in wars. Ireland is neutral. They refer to this policybsoecifically as neutrality.

  22.  @virtanen6793  The US runs NATO if you weren't aware. They will decide before, during and after a war what happens to your country. Whether they commit you to that war, how many troops they apportion to defend your country if any or whether they use it as a bargaining chip in the aftermath is entirely up to them. Why? Because the rest of NATO is a joke especially the likes of Sweden and Finland.

  24.  @virtanen6793  We have people here in Canada that think we could repel a US invasion because of our plucky spirit and because we used to have a decent military. You sound like the same kind of person. You might have lots of artillery but Finland only has 6 million people tops and probably a fifth of them are the opposite of Finnish. It isn't 1939 anymore.

  26.  @omatjalisvideot9734  It's good to be prepared but you're now in a situation where you might be tasked with attacking them rather than sitting it out. If it got to that point then if you have 900,000 troops they have 25 times that number that also have all received military training. Plus they have tactical nukes and ICBMs and the second they feel they are gonna be overrun they'll use them. It's a no win scenario.

The Saudis don't give citizenship to people just because they are born there because they aren't under some illusion that anyone can magically become one of them. They are correct. Just as George Orwell AKA Eric Blair was not an Indian even though he was born there. I've never heard anyone call him one either.
