  1. Emperors were probably whiter than this charlatan is letting on. To this day Sicilians and Calabrians are generally darker than North Italians. Either way they looked like some kind of Italian and were Europeans through and through. Definitely more Francesco Totti than Mario Balotelli.

  2. Gustavo Larancia I think alot of Americans get the idea that Italians are all really dark but that's because most Italian Americans are Southerners. At least the famous ones are. Like Al Capone and Lucky Luciano.
