Strifed damp It doesn't take long to go through 7 million bags of chips. And if they are Pringles then once you pop, you can't stop. So if they can solve that problem I think they can get one of these vaccines to each person who wants one without much trouble. You think people are so hungry for this vaccine that they will get so unruly that only the army can stop them? Somehow I don't think the kind of people who clamor to get mystery juice injected are who the government is worried about.

Strifed damp How would 7 million people get a bag of chips? Or auto parts? Or their prescriptions? First off they want those things. Secondly, the transport chain would meet the demand. No military required.

Strifed damp Yeah. It's like the new Popeye's chicken sandwich or a Black Friday sale in Baltimore. The military always gets involved when people want the latest gimmick.

@mckennm6 So what happens to it if it gets warm? Is there some kind of indicator on it that changes colour if the vaccine is spoiled? Is there a specific rate at which it needs to be brought up to temperature? Can it be too cold? How quickly does it need to be administered after being thawed? In what way are the military specialists in cryo-storage and cryo-transportation? What happens to it when it gets warm for too long? What does it do exactly once it gets warm inside your body?

@mckennm6 Okay. Perfect then. I am not overly worried about catching the virus in the first place. It seems fairly benign. If the vaccine works as advertised on that 60% to 70% then me and the 30% to 40% will have even less to worry about.
