  1. He says that 58% of SWIFT payments were in American dollars because people trust the American economy. That's not why they use it. It's because they are forced to. It was probably over 80% not too long ago but ever since they kicked Russia out of SWIFT and stole their assets more and more trade is done in other currencies.
