 @tripperdelaluna1 Soccer isn't that popular in the US. It's all about the TV money and most Americans not only don't watch soccer but they hate it.

@tripperdelaluna1 Also when a city in the US has a good hockey team they get behind it and they celebrate the Stanley Cup win with a parade. That happens in places like Florida or Las Vegas. They know that these guys are the best of the best from Europe and North America and it means something to have a champion in your town. Americans also don't hate hockey even if many are not watching a lot of it because hockey players don't simulate injuries and generally act like pansies.
