Then they started shelling the Donbass when they tried to break away. They also spent years training Ukraine's military. Total over the top provocation.

  7. That 270 to win map shows that Trump only needs two out of five swing states to win unless those two are Arizona and Nevada. That's (5 choose 2) minus 1. That is 9 paths to victory for Trump as it stands now. Biden needs Pennsylvania plus 3 other swing states. That's (5 choose 4) minus 1 which equals 4 paths. Someone can correct my math because it's been a while but that's the basic gist of it. Trump has over twice the likelihood of winning based on that map as it stands now.

  22. So Slovaks don't buy the EU bullshit basically. I think the Slovaks might be the most sensible people in Europe. Them and the Hungarians. They picked the right (although losing) side in ww2 and they do so again. They don't get caught up in daddy issues about the past like Poland for example.

It's a worse demographic situation than Japan or Russia or whoever he likes to beat up on because at least in those countries they aren't breeding a bunch of hostile welfare recipients.

  41.  @zumurudlilit  They might not like it but them working lowers the birthrate. It's just a fact. It makes life harder for everyone because you have double the workers. It means lower wages. It means more people living alone so more competition for dwellings. It's just facts and there's nothing a woman can do that a man can't do better aside from having kids. We've seen the results and it's not good for society.

The US is just plain messed up and some people want it that way and some people are noticing. To the extent that anyone isn't in favour of the Ukraine war it's because they don't care about Ukraine and don't want to blow money on it and they know the Russians won't and can't attack the US unless it's with nukes when they get pushed into a corner. Maybe you care because you live somewhat close to them but most people over here just don't.
