  2.  @AlbertMark-nb9zo  Power grids run off of a baseload and on demand system. Nuclear for example provides the baseload that you will need no matter what. Coal, natural gas or hydroelectric can be brought on to meet peak demand. Wind and solar are intermittent and unpredictable and tend to provide power more during daytime when the extra power isn't needed. Electricity has to keep moving so it isn't a simple matter of how many gigawatts. It's a matter of how many and when. Wind plays havoc with the electrical grid.
