  1. In Engineering we have International Standards, ie, ISO, DIN, ASTME,BS, so the Eu is standardizing iPhone charging ports. No Standards means a free for all mess.

  2. Standards are not part of Apples ecosystem. Why so many different connectors? Stupidity is. The EU will settle that problem for Apple.
