Excuse me, the monarchy in Britain does not govern the country parliament governs the country. If you go back in history you will find Cromwell had a Civil War to get the government back into Parliament from King Charles I who had his head removed by Cromwell, so England is run by Parliament, not the monarch whose only ahead of state for optics. So England is a democracy, America is a Democratic Republic, soon to be a Banana Republic.

@chuckdawit get out from under your rock. Ps your constitution, and Bill of Rights came from Magna Carta in England.. once again, the people had to sit the king down and write out the list of demands that he had to sign. That was the first time all the power was removed from King John learn history. I have actually been to where the Magna Carta was signed, and learnt history in the UK. Presently the US is only 250 years, you are nowhere close to the old countries with over a thousand years of history.
